Listen to what Angy Altamirano says at the end of the video: “So after surveying 100 bicyclists, four went over the speed limit, the highest going 28 miles per hour and the speed limit’s 25. And most of them were in the range between 10, 11, and 19, 16, 17 around there.” Four percent. And most well below the speed limit. Sounds like there is, in fact, no story here whatsoever. This reminds me of the bullshit story that the Herald Sun ran (then recycled a year later) in Melbourne a few years ago. Yawn…next! And I doubt any cyclocomputer is accurate enough to get nitpicky about those extra 3mph. I know for a fact NO car speedometer is that accurate. What´s the allowed percentage of “over speed” allowed for cars anyway?
